The Most Common Stationaries for Chinese Students

Nine-year old Momo is a grade 4 student, but already a veteran mobile phone user. During the summer vocation the primary way of communication between he and his mom is by sending text message to each other. For a kid in Beijing, it is reported, "Text me" is the latest fashion of saying goodbye to his buddy.

For high school students in large cities, says China’s state media, their basic stationaries include mobile phone, digital dictionary and even MP4. As for the college students, laptop is almost a must, with some having more advanced tools like PSP.

According to some big computer retailers in Beijing, each year in August, one in every three computers are purchased by student, half of which priced at 5000 to 8000 yuan.

On the other hand, in some remote rural areas, such as mountainous villages in Guizhou province, some parents can barely afford textbooks and have to rely on the government provision.

That was until very recently. Which doesn’t mean the man and the woman suddenly become unhappy with their marriage, just, it is actually not a marriage between a man and a woman.
