"Do You Like
to Have More Pork?"
-- Asks the Pig
Have you
ever imagined that you enjoy your grilled
steaks in a restaurant then you turn your
head and see a cow standing next to you?
"Like to have more steaks?" the
cow inquires.
You must
think it’s a sick joke.

Piggies waited at
Pigpen
But that
is what a patron would experience at a
Chinese restaurant in Daduhe, just the
meat in your plate is pork and the one
standing next to you is a pig, well, to
be more precise, a waiter wearing a pig
mask. Of course, it’s not an ordinary
pig, but the famous Pig in the Chinese
classic The Journey to the West. But
still, it’s a pig nonetheless.
The
restaurant specialized in pork-meat
steamboat is called Pigpen, and the boss
accordingly ordered his 30 waiters and
waitresses to serve the pork to customers
in a pig’s capacity.
Wonder
when customers are reminded what they’re
chewing is part of a creature that used
to be as full of life as themselves, how
many might lose their appetite. (Source of original
