Dialogues 10 January 2008
In Chinese 熊 is for "bear" and 能 for "can". One day 熊 (bear) met 能 (can), and asked, “What happened to you, mate? Where are your paws?“ 能 replied to 熊, “Bug, some heartless humans cut my feet to make stews.” In Chinese 兵 represents "soldier" and 丘 "mount". One day, 兵 (soldier) saw 丘 (mount) sitting on a wheelchair, and asked, “Good lord, since when you‘ve been amputated? “ 丘 replied to 兵 bitterly, “Don't mention it! I accidentally stepped on a bloody landmine!” In Chinese 臣 means “court official” and 巨 means “giant”. One day, 巨 (giant) visited 臣 (court official) and commented, “Now I can see why it is important to have an architect to design your house for you. With the same floor space, I’ve got a bachelors flat and you have two extra bedrooms.” In Chinese 比 stands for “comparison“ and 北 for “north”. One day, 北 (north) discovered 比 (comparison)’s extra marital affairs and demanded 比 to move out. 比 tried to make up with 北 and said, “No matter how, we’re a couple, why should we go separate ways? Previous: Feedbacks
