A survey by a South Korean newspaper asked 340 randomly selected South Kreans to use a Chinese idiom to describe their overall feelings about year 2007 and reflect a collective general psyche in South Korea, and found "自欺欺人" (depeive others and deceive oneself) being on the top the charts.
