Five Agents and Car

Nurturing circle and conflict relationship of Five Agents

According to the Eight Character Astrology, most traffic accidents are resulted from the conflict between Wood and Metal.

From the Five Agents point of view, car is fundamentally Metal. When someone with Metal as his Ruling Agent of Destiny (rizhu 日主: the Five Agents trait on the day of his birth) enters a Wood year, often it is his car hitting someone else. On the other hand, if his ruling agent is Wood and he enters a Metal year, then he is more likely to be a victim of a road rage.

Further more, if you were born at a Tiger hour (3am – 5am) or Monkey hour (3pm – 5pm), in a Tiger month (lunar January) or Monkey month (lunar July), of a Tiger or Monkey year, you’re more prone to traffic hazards that others.

But if you were born at a Pig hour (9pm – 11pm) or Mice hour (11pm – 1am), in a Pig month (lunar October) or Mice month (lunar November), of a Tiger or Monkey year, you’re then less likely to encounter traffic accidents.

You can always do something to minimise the risk of unpleasant incidents on the road, nevertheless. Below are some tips:

  • Avoid reinforcing the conflict between Metal and Wood, which means to keep less Metal and Wood objects in your car. Such objects include anything made of metal or wood (paper is a typical wood product), and anything in white, gold and green colours.

  • Help neutralising the conflict between Metal and Wood, which means to put more Water objects in your car. Such objects include water and anything that contains water or in black or blue colours. Water is an agent that absorbs the Metal energy while its own energy is soaked up by Wood, therefore it serves as a mediator which channels the conflict energy into a productive outlet.
