Hope (希望) and Great Great (伟伟) are little kungfu masters, but both became victims of the recent Sichuan earthquake in which they lost their home and some of their extended family members. On 27 June, they were finally arranged to resettle in Wuhan (武汉), in neighbouring Hubei Province. The pair moved into their shared unit late Friday night. Next morning shortly after a big breakfast, their nurse delivered a bamboo stalk with Hubei flavour to the room as their morning tea snack. Hope seemed to have made a good progress with light kungfu training and was able to swiftly snatch the bamboo from the nurse's hand before Great Great even lealised the existence of the delicacy. Great Great however appeared to be a great hard kungfu master, and played hard to claim its rightful share by utilizing its powerful teeth to grab the other end of the stalk in a bid to dash Hope's hope of controling the natural resource. It was a long battle as both sites refused to budge from their position. Eventually, the greedy Hope got exhausted and gave up its hope of owning the whole stalk and broke the bamboo in the middle with its teeth. A peace eventually descended upon their share bed/dinning room, and the both masters, the light and the hard, agreeded to keep a respectable distance between them (that was approximately 3 metres) while having their meal respectively. Once the food crisis was over, the pair patted on each other's furred and fat back as a gesture of reconciliation.
