A Chinese man in Guangdong
Province loved his wife so much that he could
not bear to stay away from her in the evening
after work. Unfortunately, the business of
the supermarket where his wife worked was so
good, and she was constantly required to work
overtime. Eventually the man was fed up and
dialled 110 for the emergency call, claiming
that there was a bomb inside the supermarket.
The police took no chance,
rushed to the site and shut down the premise.
They found nothing of course, but the man got
his wife home early. He was super-delighted.
Four days later on September 28 last year,
his wife again had to work overtime and he
again dialled 110 to report a bomb threat.
And the police again took no chance and again
they found nothing. It was police’s turn to
feel fed up and finally they caught the man.
The lover bug was sentenced to
one year imprisonment, and has to spend 365
evening without his wife by his side whether
she has to work overtime or not. (Initial
