A Chinese thief in Guangdong
Province broke into a village house early
Sunday night and was immediately attracted to
a bottle of high quality wine placed on a
shelf. But just at the time when he laid his
hand on the prize, he detected the
approaching footsteps and was forced to hide
under the bed.
The owner couple returned home
and eventually went to bed without suspecting
any alien presence until the might night when
they were woken up by the sound of loud
snoring coming from underneath. Upon
investigation, they found a strange man
fast-sleeping under the bed with an empty
wine bottle next to him.
The thief spent his next night
in a police cell, the result of
drink-stealing.
